Don't miss out

Lots of questions about this weekend's Kitarama. So I will try to explain. You can purchase a kit downstairs and come upstairs and assemble it for free with our materials. Some kits have tons of embellishments included and some have just the bare bones. Depends on what you want and how much you want to pay. All the embellishments upstairs are free. There is so much available that you will have a hard time determining which ones to use. I am telling you ladies, you do not want to miss out on this rare opportunity.

We also have kits available from Cheryl Mezzetti's Christmas album class. If you missed the class here is your opportunity to get a great album kit. There will be examples up for you to see and lots of help if you need it.

Getting ready for Kitarama

Yesterday I spent a lot of time photographing the kits for you so that you could start thinking about what you wanted and get excited about our first kitarama. Well, I have been up since 3 (couldn't sleep) looking for my card reader. So be patient with me, I will have them up before the day is over even if I have to buy a another card reader. I have this funny feeling a little puppy by the name of Ci Ci was on my bed. She loves to chew cords. I bet you anything that pup has taken off with it. Already had to buy another power cord to the computer and having to watch her closely with the cable cords. Whew, does that stage ever end?

Now how this Kitarama works is you buy a basic kit from downstairs, with add ons if you wish, and bring it upstairs to put together with our stuff. We have sooo many new kits Things have been coming in and we have put together some really cute ones. Lots to chose from. They will make the greatest Christmas gifts. Even if you don't use our materials, you will have a ball with these kits. Last year, Laura's Christmas kit flew out the door. So make sure that you get in early to buy your kits.

Starting Black Friday early

So looking over the internet at Sears and a couple of other retailers, we noticed that some have started Black Friday sales early. Well we said why not us. So starting this week we will have some of the best sales of the year. All kinds of goodies available for your shopping pleasure. Now don't think we won't have some fun things going on for the day after Thanksgiving (actually ours is on the Saturday after) but we will. So much happening. We had to push the kids gifts back till December because there was so much going on that Saturday. Classes and crops galore. Don't forget to sign up for the crops this month. Extra fun times.

Have fun this weekend

It's the Halloween weekend and I know you have plenty of plans. Just make sure that you put Scrap Chic on your agenda. Saturday we are having a Holiday crop that is bound to be fun. From 3-5 you can bring the kids in for some treats and fun.With custome contests and plenty of giveaways both events should be really fun. I'm sure we are gonna a spooktacular time!

Few Issues

Missed you guys this week. I had a few issues with the computer on Monday night. Right when I wanted to tell ya'll all about the great weekend we had at Scrap Chic, it decided to just sit there. Who knows what happened. Maybe it needs a paper or two to be typed in order to function correctly.lol. (glad those days are over) Tuesday, my bright mind left the computer at work. (Thanks Kelly for filling in for me.)So just a few issues to start the week but I'm back.

Hopefully you have seen the short slide show of the Girl Scouts and the great fun we had at both the classes with Cheryl. You guys missed a treat. Seriously, she is the best! I can not wait for her to come back. Ask anyone who attended her classes, they will tell you it was well worth the time. I enjoyed it immensely.

Update on this weekend. We are still having the crop on Saturday. It is gonna be so much fun. We have a costume contest, giveaways and lots of fun activities planned. Make sure you call and reserve your spot. $10

Quick kuts meets tonight for a little Halloween fun.6-8.

Lots of new things in the store. 7Gypsies and Hambly stickers, more Jenni Bowlin christmas cards and lots of Halloween things. Inks, stickles and pearls are available in new colors. Make sure you come get them while their hot. Crate paper should be arriving soon.

Lots going on next month. Kitarama the first weekend. It is where you can buy a kit, come upstairs and make it with our materials at no cost. Lots of things to choose from. Kids gift day the next Saturday. This was a big hit last year. Bring in your kids to make those personal gifts for their teachers and friends. They love it. Altered art class with Amy. Wait to you see the great things she has come up with. So get ready for a jammed packed month.

Getting in the groove

With classes being over I can better get into the groove of the store. Not to say that I did not enjoy my doctoral classes (the hardest thing I have ever completed next to learning to skate) but I am relived.The dissertation stage does not seem as demanding ( I've only been into for 3 weeks and it lasts for a year lol.) So the groove is back.

Yesterday, Lavel and I put together  the cutest  Halloween giveaways for next weekend, wrap up all the great prizes and we are decorating for Halloween. Not to mention getting ready for this weekend. I am actually gonna take some of the classes! Whoo Hoo!  So if I look excited I am.

Now if you are looking for some great fun for this weekend and next make sure you sign up for the classes and the crop next weekend. Reminder the crop is canceled for this weekend. I will be posting the prizes for the costume contest and getting more things together for the kiddies.
